Applications are now open for the 2025 Global South Study Week in Beirut, Lebanon — a fully funded, one-week program dedicated to knowledge exchange, advocacy, and regional solidarity.
Scheduled for the week of November 10, 2025, this prestigious event brings together young civil society activists from across the Global South to address key challenges in sustainable human development.
Hosted by the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) in collaboration with Third World Network, Social Watch, Global Policy Forum, and the Asfari Institute at AUB, the program fosters skills development, policy discussions, and cross-regional cooperation.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be under 40 years old
- Come from a Global South country
- Hold a university degree in development, economics, political/social sciences, international relations, or human rights
- Be endorsed by a local, national, or regional NGO
- Be actively engaged in advocacy or coordination work related to:
- Development, multilateralism, global governance
- Debt, trade, investment, and tax justice
- Social justice, climate change, biodiversity, agriculture, and gender justice
