The theme for this year is “Helsinki Security Forum 2025 – The Hour of Europe”. Participants will:

- Publish an HSF Insight essay on the official forum website.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:
- Be under 30 years of age
- Hold a relevant academic or professional background in security, defense, international relations, or a related field
- Submit a 700–1000-word essay on a relevant security/defense topic
- Be willing to share their HSF experience on social media
