Scholarship Value & Benefits
The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) provides a financial award ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one academic year. Students meeting renewal criteria may extend the scholarship for the second year.
Additional Kipaji Scholarship
Recipients of UTS may also qualify for the Kipaji Scholarship, valued at up to €12,000, subject to additional eligibility requirements.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Twente Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Hold (provisional) admission to a qualifying UT Master’s program starting in 2026.
- Not hold EU/EEA or Dutch nationality.
- Obtain an entry visa if applicable.
- Meet English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 speaking) or TOEFL iBT 90.
- Not be a current UT student.
